In addition the Runner’s World: Complete Book of Women’s Running book I have been reading, Andrew also picked out Chris Carmichael’s Food for Fitness: Eat Right to Train Right. Chris is the fellow that coached Lance Armstrong, he’s legit to say the least. Reading about nutrition is a bit like sending someone to rehab. I know what I should be doing but this book is needed tough love.
Oddly enough, it’s been tough not going to the gym every morning. I know, I’m certifiable. Routine is a routine, but Andrew is making sure I’m making the most of my workouts here in Aruba. I still run in the AM, running the beach has been gorgeous. I then get in a few swimming lessons with the hubs. It’s tough. I have zip natural h2o ability but we’re trying. I’ve swallowed enough salt water to sink a ship. Ick.
With the sand in my toes and a float under me, I’ll catch y’all later. Keep doing what you’re doing!
